something (a bit) different

h&m trench coat, alexander wang skirt, thrifted sweater, vintage dior tights, vintage etienne aigner oxfords

Outfit for a rainy day. Or the day after a rainy day where you think it's going to rain again and realize that you're completely wrong when the sun is shining down on you. Ahh well. This is my favorite type of weather (not too hot, not too chilly, and clear skies) but the rain yesterday was a nice change. I had a great time in the city with BF eating Mexican food and staying in to watch movies. I love lazy days.

Like the new hair? I'm getting really sick of it and have thought about chopping it off but I know the novelty will wear off in a day when I look in the mirror and realize that I wasted two or three years of growing it out. For now I'll just stick to styling it differently (aka side part and bangs). For now...

But what is the hair doing for you? Chop it, I say, it might be hard to get used to but it gives you a new lease on life!

I love your hair, it looks so nice and thick and perfect for length. Have you had it short before? If you have you should compare pictures side by side and give yourself a week to think about if you really want to cut it or not.

Love the red tights. My mom once told me, back in the days she had all the colors. Ahaha. IT was a trend for her! :)

You look so much prettier with bangs straight across instead of to the side!

I love your trench coat? Is that a recent purchase? If so I need to head to H&M now and buy one.

And where do you buy a lot of your vintage clothes? They are gorgeous.

chopping your hair off can be pretty liberating, i speak from experience. i had boob length hair last year, and cut it off in january, and have been maintaining the short length. i was happy with it for a while, but now i miss my long hair and want something more feminine... i guess shaved sides and floppy front/fringe bit gets a bit tiring.
it can make you look cool and i don't regret it. but i do miss my long hair and am now facing a year or two growing it out...
ps. i like your trenchcoat, very audrey hepburn.

Your hair looks lovely! I'm trying to grow out my bangs and I'm hating the non stop side sweep bangs (if I can even get my bangs to sweep to the side...) but I think your hair looks just beautiful. I had one in a long line of traumatic hair cuts a few months ago where the lady gave me a mullet and then I had to chop off five inches of this MULLET and now I wish wish I had super long hair again. Also, Your red tights look so sassy!

Love your outfit, and the side bangs. Take my advice, DON'T get an impulse haircut! I got one, and have regretted it every day since!

I love rainy days and trenchcoats. :)

And I'm in desperate need of red tights! Which you wear wonderfully.

Also, I love your hair down! All my rash decisions about my hair have not ended well, though. I miss my long hair. :(

DON'T CHOP your hair!! I do that all the time too, I spend years growing it out and then one day I decide I hate it and need to chop it all off, and regret it immediately because I never remember that I look HORRID with short hair, and start the cycle all over again. Don't chop off that pretty pretty hair :< But the side bangs are a nice alternative! Maybe thin out the layers more, so it feels lighter, but it's still long. I did that and I looove it. And it's something different to style!
