done with film for a while

after the rain

I just developed film and man, this is getting expensive. Don't get me wrong, I love using my film camera every once in a while but since my digital point-and-shoot started crapping out I've been using it significantly more often. Need my DSLR now! I still really like how these three photos came out. I ruined my oxfords after an impromptu game of kickball with friends at midnight when I happened to be the only one lucky enough to step in dog crap. They still smell like shit.

films are the best but digital is much easier to deal with. love your oxford! sorry it had to meet the poo :(

haha funny story but shame about the shoes. I hate it when you ruin a much-loved pair.

Those leaves in the first photo are so pretty!

I prefer the way film shots turn out in the end, but yes, digital is far cheaper & less time consuming in the long run!

try putting fresh coffee grounds (or whatever they're called) in them. the smell will go away.

I know what you mean, I just recently developed a roll and I was totally not aware how expensive it was..

Still, they're much more fun to take than digital photographs. I love how you're like: Oh I totally forgot I took this photo.. :)

Film is so nice, but I hear you on the $$$ part. And I don't have a film scanner so I end up having to bother my friend to use hers. Those shoes are really great, and I love the red tights

That stinks about your oxfords! They are so super cute and your photos are always so amazing and make me miss San Francisco.

I think the oxfords are really cute, that's too bad about the dog shit :/ When that happens to me I let them sit outside for a loooong time and the shit will eventually just crack off like dirt :/

I agree! I love the classics, but I can not afford them at all... So, I love my DSLR above all.

People who don't clean up after their dogs are such jerks, they deserve to have dog crap smeared all over their doorhandles and inside their mailboxes. When I was younger I actually considered doing this to someone when I saw them let their dog crap on my lawn and leave without cleaning it up, but I didn't have the guts haha.

It's a shame film is so expensive to develop, I love my dslr but film has that extra touch that makes it so much better.

That sucks for your shoes, but at least you weren't out skateboarding (!) with someone on the back of the board. At least your board didn't crash. At least your HAND didn't go in the dog crap.

Not that that happened to me...

you should develop your film at costco if there is one near you or if you go online, its like 10 cents a picture and they can just mail it to you and i'm pretty sure its free shipping.
