huntington library

huntington library

A couple photos from my last trip to the Huntington Library. My parents live less than five minutes away but I didn't start going there until recently. If you're ever in town, you must visit. I'm so glad spring is coming, I want to run around in floral dresses and sandals already. I've always considered it my favorite season, except for my insane allergies which never let me fully enjoy the flowers. Oh well, it doesn't hurt to look and admire from afar, right?

I've always wanted to go here but never make my way there, even though my family lives near by. Should have taken advantage of it when I was there. Have you ever been to the Arboretum in Arcadia right by the Santa Anita horse track? I've been there like a million times, one of my favorite places ever in So cal.

I love your flower photos especially the blossom and the fact it's called 'Pink Perfection'!
That library looks absolutely immense, and I love the architecture of it. It's the first properly warm/hot day here and I'm so excited to get outside! :)

Beautiful colours, the orange flowers are gorgeous. You make me wish it was spring here in Australia! Oh well, i'll have to settle for winter.

I'd be interested to know if you ever alter your pictures in photoshop before posting, they always appear so clear and white. (Though, it might be because my Mac is crazy bright, idk.)

Not to sound stalker-ish or anything, but do your parents live in San Marino??

Desert garden and Japanese garden are my favorite - I used to frequent the Huntington Library myself as a kid.

Blue Boy and Pinkie are artwork worth checking out as well :)

stop by my blogs!

Must agree with the rest of the gang, the photographs are the very essence of spring.

And definitely understand where you're coming from with the whole allergy thing. Crazy insane.

Hi Annabel,

I've loved your blog for a long time but the last few posts about Revolve is reminding me of how bloggers are gradually falling into business'collaborations' and superficial lust with a brand that gives them free clothes.

I really miss your usual posts about your everyday experiences, meals and fashion choices.

In one of your posts you said: "Maybe I am ready to post "just anything" now no matter how mundane it may be. Wasn't I the one who called it a "lifestyle" blog?"

I just hope it's not true :(

Milly. said...

I absolutely adore your blog, as I said before! and have just recommended it for ASOS 'Blogs we love' - I hope you're featured!! x

Hi ! Your pictures are so beautiful !
But I'm new on blogspot and i have some problems.. How do you do to post pictures like that on blogspot ? Because when I post pictures from flickr, they haven't the good size like yours.. I'm sad about that. :(
