where's the snow?

02-28-10
A.P.C. sweatshirt + skirt, Rachel Comey boots, Fjallraven backpack

Went to Japantown to get a new doll while wearing this yesterday. Were we really freaking out about the possibility of snow up until a day ago? I know something light hit Twin Peaks but it wasn't very apparent the next day; in fact, the sky was super clear from Saturday until Monday. Silly San Francisco. It's cold again now but yesterday's weather was so great that I was fine walking around in this.

Posting these pictures just made me think of these three things: 1. I look too pale since I haven't been out in the sun, 2. my hair is too crazy because I need a haircut and haven't cut it in months, and 3. man, those scars on my knee are ugly, how do I get rid of them?

ps. Rachel from Need Supply just posted about a few of my favorite places in SF :)

Mederma for the scars! It works wonders.

love your mustard skirt! and of course the booties are fantastic.

Shelby said...

you can hardly see the scars but using bio oil works really well. i love that skirt too, btw!

Jenny said...

You are so lucky you get to walk around without a jacket! Its toooo cold in London.
I like the 'crazy' look of your hair (I have a preference for 'messy' hair =P). If you can get it in the US, Bio-Oil is supoosed to be good for getting rid of scars.
Love the colour of your skirt

vitamin e! anything with that in it. i used to have a huge scar like halfway down my leg that i got from a broken wire hanger and i just kind of messed around with different vitamin e products and it got way better.

ps. i love your hair. its unruly in a good way!

HAHA, I live in the Bay Area too, and thought it was super dramatic how the weather people were freaking out about the snow, and then.....nothing. haha the weirdest/funniest thing is that they never acknowledge that they were wrong!

Anyway end of rant. I really love the color of your skirttt!

Totally agree. Was up early on Saturday morning awaiting snow... weather.com fail ): There's supposed to be a huge rain storm blowing through the Bay Area tonight-tomorrow morning though! Love the mustard skirt (:

I think Vitamin E is the official scar-type-thing, but maybe something with aloe vera could work? Just keep you skin nice and elasticy/moisturised occasionally should help.
Love that yellow skirt, I've seen them everywhere lately >.<

back to basics <3

But yeah japantown is awesome. The one here in NY is cool as well as Koreatown.

And the knees: I got the same problem. I hear shea butter?

the scars? try tanning your legs ,it might do the trick. Some friends of mine do.

I hate changing weather. I mean, one day you're out in skirts and the other you have to wear fur because it's freezing! It's the same over here,so I understand.
